Kimo is “Jim” in Hawaiian; (most people wonder where the name came from) he grew up in Hawaii and resides in Austin Texas with his wife, two daughters and their dog Ginger.

He is an executive with experience in building management teams, developing markets, and negotiating strategic alliances and sales channels for growth. He has a strong background in energy sector and finance, with those sectors he specializes in business development and program management both within large conglomerates and small to medium sized ventures.

He has a proven track record in multi-million dollar market creation for green and conventional energy companies and services, using his business development skills as leverage to create routes-to-market, particularly at the confluence of project financing and technology.

He is successful at the management of multi-disciplinary teams around common strategic objectives and marketing, sales and execution of large projects both in the U.S. and internationally.

He constructed, negotiated, and managed complex, creative deals involving financing, joint marketing programs, sponsorship, and technology development.
